Sonic Boom: Fire and Ice [3DS]

So just today and on my birthday too [Happy 21 for me ], Nitendo and Sega have just announced a new game in the works recently and though I should share it here as well. as you can see, Nintendo just put out a teaser trailer for a sequel to sonic boom: shattered crystal that was for the 3ds dubbed Sonic Boom: Fire and Ice, and with it being a sequel this to will also be for the 3ds as well. me honestly, Seeing as I never played any of the older ones, can't really say how I feel about this. Kinda been out of the loop with the newer sonic console games so none really much to say. and that's pretty much all I have to say for this in terms of what I think of this. for a more detailed explanation, Here is the original article of how I found out about this

So aside from my own opinion, what are your thoughts on this?

Part of me asks; Why?
But part of me knows why; Boom!Sonic is their latest endeavor so they're going to force it on us until we like it.

I hope it's not a glitchy mess like the last one, at least.

need the old Sonic Team to start working on these games again. They can't really push the envelope on gameplay now a days because they are trying to make Sonic more child friendly which pretty much means Rogue has to put a shirt on. However i do agree that the games should at least be playable SEGA has gotten really lazy over the years with maintenance and making sure these games are bug free before release.

it has potential of being really good i just hope they reinforce the game in a more positive way and give it a plot!!!
