★ DJ SonicFreak 2015 FL Studio Edition ★

What's up? This is an advanced graphics edit of Fruity Loops Studio version 9.
The reason I chose to edit FL 9 is the fact, I started making beats with this one.
Also, some features like the Midi pattern blocks were removed in later versions.


Function exactly the same as FL Studio 9, but it comes with some SonicFreak Extras.

wassup man can we colab on some beats?

I haven't downloaded it yet but the Skin for the studios is quite vibrant and upbeat. I think a person would have to get use to the patterns though with the switching of the icons lol. I'm so use to the original pattern icons.

Thanks Neko, glad you're digging the presentation of it and yeah I figured doing the pattern blocks like that would make it more unique with that Sonic charm to it.

On a side note, links are updated. I have added in a Skydrive and MEGA link for the FL Studio download.
It took me a day to upload these but hopefully that would put less stress on the dropbox link and balance some things out. If anyone have anymore problems with the links, feel free to let me know.

How do you go about making skins for FL? Because this looks interesting and I'd love to have my go at this as well as VLC Player.

It's pretty easy. All you have to do is go to your FL Studio Folder - Artwork - Default and your skin is in there.

You can then load them up on Photoshop and edit over them. Make sure you save it in the same format or else it will glitch out as a pitch black graphic.

Some parts can edited, some cannot.
It takes some trial and error so I recommend makong a backup copy of the Default skin as an emergency.

The startup sound can be edited within the same skin folder as a .wav file. Cant be no more than 10 seconds. In FL 10 and earlier, this can be edited but in FL 11 it cannot.

Lastly the bootup logo can be edited in your edition folder within the Artwork folder. In this case its in "FL Studio Prodcuer Edition XXL" and you can swap out the .png logo file.

It takes a few hours to make and requires some savvy Photoshopping.

REPROT OF A POSSIBLE SERVER ISSUE: So there was about 2 minutes left within the downloading process and a communication error was received after approximately an hour of waiting time. Will retry and see if the problem persists.

Just reporting back to say the issue has been resolved. The server should be working fine. Did'nt want to forget.Enjoy Everyone!

Believe or not, I don't use Nexus. I personally prefer Harmless and Sytrus VSTs over it and it comes prepacked with FL Studio. If you don't have Harmless installed, it's easy to download elsewhere.

But to answer your question, I don't plan on uploading Nexus here for download, so you might try to download elsewhere.

No, this comes with the entire FL Studio.

If you're downloading from the MEGA server, you will need to install the MEGA extension on your Chrome or Firefox browser. I recommend downloading from the dropbox or skydrive servers first.

Also, the download is compressed in a .rar file. You will need winrar to open and extract the files out.

Those are the only things that require an "app" for the FL Studio Edition.

So i need Firefox or Chrome to download it I was using Internet Explorer. Thanks a lot man I'll try it and tell you what happens.

There are a bunch of apps in the Windows store and idk which one specifically to download. Can you tell me which one it is?

There are people making claims that I am a hypocrite for releasing this, because I will complain about people being a "clone" with my musical style. While this was true in 2012, now in present day in 2015, I don't mind it. Everyone has to start somewhere and I understand that people done so out of inspiration. I've seen people who used to be like me, grow into successful producers with their own style. Plus you guys as my supporters deserve this and I figured this would be a very generous thing to do for newcomers. So please, do not believe the garbage you hear people say about this release. Thank you!
