★ DJ SonicFreak's Sonic Rap Beat Contest ★

THE PURPOSE



The purpose on this contest is to have fun and to promote each other to grow.
There will be no cash or materialistic prizes, so if that's what you were hoping for, sorry. But if you're looking to promote yourself and potentially work with me musically, then this contest is right for you.

HOW IT WORKS



First you and the others sign up. Then from there on, there will be a post for contestants to download a Sonic sample pack. This sonic sample pack contains 10 sonic songs that you can pick from and remix into a hip-hop or trap instrumental. I will be picking Sonic songs that are underused, since certain sonic songs are overused like Green Hill Zone for example. I might grab a Sonic song from a game like Sonic Triple Trouble. So creativity is a must.



Secondly, submissions are done through YouTube and you send me an HQ Mp3 download.
Once you posted your video, you then submit your video link here at SonicFreak forums on the submission
post I will have up later. Once the deadlineis up, judge week begins and the winner is announced.



Thirdly, your video MUST have " Join SonicFreak Forums @ http://tinyurl.com/sonicfreak " throughout the WHOLE
video. You can use an image editor like Photoshop and add the text to a Sonic related picture or video editor.
The reason is to help advertise and attract Sonic fans to grow SF Forums, while you get your video promoted in exchange.

THE EXCHANGE AND WINNINGS

Every contest beat submission will have their video added in a playlist and posted on my YouTube page and here at SonicFreak Forums. The Mp3 downloads you provided will all be thrown into a Collection Mixtape for fans to download and listen. The Mixtape download will have all your YouTube channel links embedded in your Mp3.

So you get double the promotion in exchange, so everyone is a winner.

The top 3 will have an opportunity to work with me on collaboration and can have a custom FL Studio Edition designed by me.

Sounds interesting. aside from the archives, I make small beats here and there myself as well. Also will there be a specific set that we would have to make, or can we upload as many as we want? [for the contest of course].

It's only a one sample, one track.
I'll have 10 Sonic Songs provided in a .zip file on March 28th.

You'll have to decide which one out of the ten, you wanna sample.
Then do only one Sonic beat from the sample you picked from the folder.
